Plates at New Hampshire: NASCAR has no plans to use restrictor plates during Busch Series events this weekend at New Hampshire International Speedway, and it has not made a decision on whether it will use them in the Winston Cup race July 22.(SpeedVision). Back in February it was reported that “Helton also said that restrictor plates won’t return to New Hampshire, where NASCAR used them for the first time last year. “We’ve got some other things we’re looking at to do in general on the race cars,” Helton said without elaboration(see my NHIS Past News Page for the full story)(5-11-2001)
