Hmiel Wins Dash Race: Steve Hmiel, technical director at Dale Earnhardt Inc., watched his son Shane win the Pabst Blue Ribbon 100, a NASCAR Goodys Dash race, on Saturday, at Darlington Raceway. The younger Hmiel took the lead from Cam Strader with less than 10 laps remaining. The Dash event was a preliminary to Darlingtons Craftsman Truck Series race(Gaston Gazette)(5-15-2001)
