the BGN field was set on owners points. No provisionals were used to set the lineup, so the Cup drivers in the top 35 in Cup points not being able to use a provisional in a BGN race does not apply. The rules as I understand them for a qualifying rainout: #1) – First 35 by current Owner Points; #2) – Race winners from the previous and current season not already in the field; #3) – Past BGN Champions not in by 1 and 2; #4) – Qualifying Attempts with Owners points as the tie breaker.
