Two NASCAR inspectors were disciplined for inappropriate conduct following an incident at the Craftsman Truck Series race at Darlington. NASCAR Director of Operations Kevin Triplett said he could not comment on the nature of the incident or if the officials were suspended but did confirm that disciplinary action had been taken. “Personnel issues within our company are confidential, so I can’t really discuss what they were,” he said. “But we did have some personnel issues we had to address, and we did address them.
