Jarrett to skip IROC race UPDATE Marcis in: due to his rib injury, Dale Jarrett will not race in the third IROC race of the 2001 season. Marcis also drove as a substitute in the 1999 race at Indianapolis for CART series driver Adrian Fernandez, who had suffered a wrist injury. All points Marcis accumulates in Saturday’s race will be credited to Jarrett. The same applies to Al Unser Jr., who is substituting for the Indy Racing League’s Scott Goodyear in the race.
