Dana to Help out at NASCAR Technical Institute: Dana Automotive Aftermarket Group, one of the leading producers of automobile replacement parts, will have a leadership role in creation of the new NASCAR Technical Institute, founded to train mechanics and technicians for service outlets across the United States. Groundbreaking for the tech institute, located in Mooresville, was held May 23. The Institute, to open in 2002, is a partnership between Universal Technical Institute of Phoenix and NASCAR.
