Fox wants a change? UPDATE 2 Las Vegas/Rockingham to switch? No? There is talk Fox does not want to begin its 2002 telecasts with the Rockingham race, currently second on the schedule. NBC has the rights to the Daytona 500 to open the 2002 season(Sporting News) UPDATE: hearing the Las Vegas Cup race could be moved to the 2nd wwekend of the 2002 Cup Schedule and Fox would start their 2002 race broadcasts with that race UPDATE 2: Sources tell me that Las Vegas will still have the first Sunday of March race date, and that unless NASCAR leaves an open date after Daytona (unlikely) some race will be run between Vegas and Daytona(6-18-2001)
