Small Carb Back:

teams will be required to compete with a 390-CFM carburetor in this week’s inaugural race at the 1.5-mile Kansas Speedway. The reduced-flow carburetor was used June 8 at Texas. Teams also will be allowed to use a hose to vent fresh air from the truck’s nose to the air filter. That’s expected to compensate some of the loss of horsepower and give drivers greater throttle response than they experienced in Texas(Daytona Beach News Journal)(7-5-2001)
