#24 Sponsor: Sontara Technologies, an Old Hickory nonwoven wiper manufacturer, will sponsor the Jeff Gordon-driven DuPont car in two NASCAR races this year. The teaming up of Sontara and Gordon are part of a marketing campaign by the local unit of DuPont nonwovens to promote its recently launched line of wiper products for automotive refinishing tasks. Sontara’s brand logo is slated to appear on the deck lid of Gordon’s #24 car at the July 15 race at the Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Ill.
