No More Hammers: As of Friday, teams will no longer be allowed to use hammers during the inspection process. It was common in the past for teams to use blunt instruments to remedy slight problems related to height, body configuration, etc. Now teams will have to remove their cars from the inspection line, with even the most minute of adjustments being completed in the garage area or at the transporter(Gaston Gazette)(8-11-2001)
