JD Gibbs is scheduled to make his second 2001 CTS start Thursday night in the Kroger 200 at Richmond. Gibbs, President of Joe GibbsRacing, will pilot the # 48 Hot Rod Magazine Chevrolet truck. The 32 year old Gibbs, raced earlier this year in the Truck Series race at Darlington Raceway, finishing 23rd. Gibbs will be joined in the Kroger 200 by his younger brother, Coy, a full-time competitor in the Truck Series. Coy drives the # 20 MBNA sponsored Chevrolet, and currently stands in tenth place in the point standings.(PR)(9-6-2001)
