Stewart Staying at Gibbs: #20-Tony Stewart, under contract to Joe Gibbs Racing, says he won’t be going anywhere. After driving the Indianapolis 500 for Chip Ganassi Racing, rumors persisted that Stewart would join Ganassi’s Winston Cup program. “I’m not going to Ganassi. I have three years left on my contract,” Stewart said Sept. 1. “I don’t have any intention of going anywhere. He’s never asked me anything. The only time we’ve ever talked about driving anything was the IRL car next year and that was brought up one time about a week after May was over.
