Gordon Busy in NYC – AND: Jeff Gordon, the 2001 NASCAR Winston Cup champion, has a busy schedule next week. Gordon, a four-time winner of the Winston Cup, will be participating in several special activities during a weeklong media tour in New York City, concluding with the NASCAR Winston Cup Awards Ceremony at the Waldorf-Astoria on Friday, Nov. 30. On Thursday, Nov. 29, the annual photo shoot at Times Square will include a special ceremony involving the New York City Mayor’s Office. John Dyson, representing Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, will present a proclamation declaring Friday, Nov. 30, as NASCAR Winston Cup Series Day in New York City. Following the ceremony, Gordon and crew chief Robbie Loomis will participate in a photo shoot with the #24 DuPont Chevy at Times Square.
