Pfizer Men’ Health Tune-up for Life: The 2002 Mark Martin Health Challenge is a new addition to the Pfizer Men’ Health Tune-up for Life program, a national men’ health awareness initiative that was introduced in February 2000. For the past two years, the program has traveled throughout the country with the NASCAR Winston Cup Series to encourage and help fans to learn more about their own health. At the conclusion of the 2001 racing season, the program had provided free health screenings for almost 50,000 race fans and participants since its inception. This season the pharmaceutical company is taking it a step further, encouraging fans to take the lessons of health away from the track and back. Fans can enter the program by getting health screenings at the spring events at Daytona, Atlanta, Bristol, Talldega, Richmond and Charlotte, and then if they have shown improvement in one area when the series returns later in the season, they will get a chance to race on a NASCAR simulator, with each track designating a champion that will get to meet with Mark Martin one-on-one and spend the day with one guest in the Winston Cup pits.(SpeedVision)(2-5-2002)
