NASCAR officials announced today that David Goulet, a team crew member [ESPN2 reports the #54 team, he no longer works there] in the BGN, has been suspended indefinitely for violation of the NASCAR Substance Abuse Policy. The infraction is a rules violation of Section 12-4-A in regard to: “Any member who performs an act or participates in actions deemed by NASCAR officials as detrimental to stock car racing or to NASCAR.”(NASCAR PR)(6-6-2002)
