No one was seriously injured in the incident, which happened as soon as the green flag fell Saturday night at the Sumter Speedway in Sumter, SC. Robert L. Disher immediately rammed his car into a rival, then put his car in reverse and began intentionally ramming several other cars, according to a report filed by the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. With the race stopped, Disher, 31, drove around the track, turned around toward the already damaged cars and continued hitting vehicles for several minutes before coming to a stop, deputies said. Deputies then pulled Disher from his car after another racer pinned the vehicle against the wall.
