Stewart to do double duty at Daytona: Tony Stewart will not only drive his #20 Home Depot Pontiac in the July 6 Pepsi 400 NASCAR Winston Cup Series race, but he has also signed up to wheel the #2 Home Depot Judd-powered Crawford with road racing veteran Elliott Forbes-Robinson in the Rolex Sports Car Series Jani-King Paul Revere 250. The Jani-King Paul Revere 250 will go green shortly after the conclusion of Bud Pole Qualifying for the Pepsi 400 on July 4. It’s Stewart’s second appearance this season behind the wheel of the #2 Crawford that competes in the Rolex Premier SportsRacing Prototype class. Stewart competed in the 40th anniversary of the Rolex 24 At Daytona in February. In February’s Rolex 24, Stewart and the Crawford Race Cars team started in the third position and maintained a spot in the top five of the 80-car field before the car lost its engine in the 12th hour and was forced to retire from the race.(DIS PR)(6-18-2002)
