Keller and Albertson’s re-up with ppc Racing:

Albertsons announced it has re-signed with ppc Racing as primary sponsor of Jason Keller and the #57 Ford in the BGN for 2003. Keller’s success in 2002 made him a hot commodity in the NASCAR garage area, but the commitment of Albertsons and a championship caliber race team brought Keller back to the #57 Ford for another year. “Right now I want to do more than win races,” said Keller. “I want to win a championship and I know that I have that opportunity with ppc Racing. Greg Pollex gave me an opportunity to continue to drive in the Busch Series when no one else would.. Greg, Keith (Barnwell) and the entire ppc Racing organization have been very instrumental in my success over the past years and I look forward to continuing our relationship through next season.” The 2003 BGN season will be Keller’s 10th year of competition in the series. While ppc Racing is in its third year of existence on the Busch Series circuit, Keller has raced for ppc Racing co-owner Greg Pollex for five years and co-owner Keith Barnwell for two. In addition to being the primary sponsor of the #57 Ford, Albertsons is planning numerous marketing and promotional programs utilizing Keller and the Albertsons Ford within its family of stores. Albertsons operates in numerous NASCAR markets under several different banners including ACME, Jewel, Osco and Sav-On.(IMG PR)(7-13-2002)
