With overcast skies and a cool breeze blowing, Burton improved his speeds from Monday, steering his #99 CITGO Ford around the 1.54-mile track at 185.716mph. Former NAPA 500 winner #44-Jerry Nadeau also picked up speed from Monday, taking the second spot on the speed chart Tuesday with a lap of 185.418 mph.
