Sad News: Eoline Mom Leatherman Jarrett, 92, of Hickory-Lincolnton Highway, died Oct. 27, 2002, at her residence. She is the mother of NASCAR great Ned Jarrett and grandmother to Dale (driver of the #88 UPS Ford) and broadcaster Glenn.(full obit at the Hickory Record)(10-30-2002)
