Crew Chief Fined:

NASCAR officials announced that CTS crew chief Kevin Cram has been fined for an infraction found during initial inspection for the Nov. 8 Chevy Silverado 150 at Phoenix International Raceway. Cram, crew chief for the #98 Chevy [driven by Cory Kruseman], was fined $250 for actions detrimental to stock car racing, specifically under Sections 12-4-A, 12-4-Q and 20B-12.1-A(3) of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Rule Book: use of parts that do not conform to NASCAR rules. The #98 was found to have unapproved front jacking bolts.(NASCAR PR)(11-14-2002)
