Fred Bickford has resigned as co-owner of #94 DF2 Motorsports, the team announced on Saturday. Bickford sites family reasons for stepping down from the team. The news comes on the heels of the announcement of a partnership between the team and Winston Cup Crew Chief Tony Furr. The team is on-track to compete full-time in the BGN in 2003, and the announcement will have no effect on those plans. Partner Danny Bost joined the team in 2002 and will continue that partnership now with Furr in the 2003 season.(BGN Racing)(12-23-2002)
