UPDATE 2: Hendrick Motorsports has formed an alliance that will allow driver Kyle Busch to run six select 2003 Busch Series races in the #87 Chevy of NEMCO Motorsports with primary sponsorship from Ditech.com, team owner Rick Hendrick announced. “We’re extremely excited to partner with Ditech.com and NEMCO Motorsports to field Kyle in the Busch Series this year,” Hendrick said. “This gives us the ability to pair him with a championship-caliber team right out of the box.” Under the agreement, NEMCO will field the Las Vegas native in the #87 Ditech.com Chevy at six Busch Series events this season, including his circuit debut at Lowe’s Motor Speedway on May 24. Former Busch Series champion Joe Nemechek, who competes in the #87 Chevy on a limited basis, has already garnered two pole positions and two victories with the team in just five events this season. “This is just amazing to me,” Busch said. “To have a sponsor like Ditech.com and support from not only Hendrick Motorsports, but NEMCO as well — it’s just awesome. This is really a great situation and I’m very grateful to everyone that worked so hard to make it happen. I’m looking forward to showing everyone what we’ve got.” Busch, who will turn 18 on May 2, will also run seven ARCA events with Hendrick Motorsports and the Ditech.com logo, beginning this week at Nashville Superspeedway. It will be the 17-year-old’s second career ARCA event and first with veteran crew chief Gary DeHart. “We’re very excited about the sponsorship opportunity with Kyle Busch and the 87 car,” said Michael McCarthy, general manager of Ditech.com. “We’re known in our industry for speed and quality, and that’s exactly the partnership we see with Hendrick Motorsports.” Busch will compete full-time in the Busch Series beginning next season. Founded in 1995, Ditech.com is a direct mortgage lender and business unit of GMAC Mortgage. The company has grown into a full-service corporation that provides home loans with competitive rates and the highest level of customer care to consumers nationwide. Headquartered in Costa Mesa, Calif., Ditech.com is part of the General Motors family, offering the strength and stability that comes from one of the world’s largest corporations.
