Indianapolis Raceway Park [IRP] will hold an open test session for all Busch Series teams on July 14th and 15th. Wednesday, July 16th has been reserved in case of rain.. This test will allow teams to prepare for the Kroger 200 presented by Tom Raper RV’s Busch Series race, on August 2nd. The fee to test will be $250.00 per car number and teams may pay when they arrive at IRP. To register for the test session, teams should call 317-291-4090. Goodyear tires and 76 Racing Fuels will be notified regarding the test to provide products for the race teams. The test will be free and open to the public. The Kroger 200, presented by Tom Raper RV on August 2nd, is just one facet of the Kroger SpeedFest, which features three nights of exciting racing action. The J. D. Byrider 100, featuring the USAC Silver Crown Series kicks off the weekend’s activities on July 31st. On August 1st, the stars of the Truck Series return for the running of the Power Stroke Diesel 200, presented by Ford and International. The weekend concludes with the running of the Kroger 200 presented by Tom Raper RV’s Busch Series race, on Saturday.(IRP PR)(5-17-2003)
