Here’s what MotorsportsTV have on overnight ratings for Sunday night so far: NBC 7.8/14; CBS 5.6/10; FOX 5.3 / 9 ; ABC 3.1/5. Zap2it says the fast national numbers show that FOX earned a 4.9/10 for the night in prime time, with the race garnering a 4.6/10 from 7-8, a 5.2/10 from 8-9, and the final hour yielding a 4.8/8. Sunday’s 87th running of the Indianapolis 500 on ABC yielded a 5.1 overnight rating, down 4 percent from last year’s overnight number.( MotorsportsTV )(5-27-2003)
