More on Kyle Busch:

18-year old Kyle Busch told Benny Parsons on Monday night’s PRN’s Fast Talk radio show the reason why he signed with Rick Hendrick and not Jack Roush (like his brother Kurt) was that Roush Racing wanted to sign him to a 9-year contract. The younger Busch said, “I just didn’t want to feel the pressure of having to sign a 9-year deal. My sports attorney said it wasn’t a good idea to do it either and so he looked at some different options.” Busch inked a 2 year deal with Hendrick to run 7 ARCA and 7 Busch Series races this season before going fulltime Busch in 2004. At the end of 2004 he’ll become a free agent, but believes he will stay with Hendrick. Busch says both organizations have first class equipment, but felt he had to make a choice based on what he felt was best for his career.( PRN’s Fast Talk )(5-28-2003)
