a recent interview with Cup/Busch car owner Joe Gibbs at the Sports Business Daily where he discussed a new business venture he’s got with his son Coy: THE DAILY: One of your latest business ventures is a company called Joe Gibbs Performance, which is the brainchild of your son COY. What’s that all about? Gibbs: We’re working with GM, and we’ll be coming out with a truck. Basically, it’s going to have a different look to it. It’ll be a Joe Gibbs Performance look, and then it’s going to have a performance enhancement to it. We’re going to be putting out 1,000 Silverados and hopefully 1,000 Tahoes … over the next 2 1/2 to three years. We’re in the car business, and we think that we have a feel for looks what people like and performance.
