Hendrick Motorsports is considering running Kyle Busch full time in the Busch Series next season in a partnership with Nemco Motorsports. Nemco is a Busch team owned by one of Hendrick’s Winston Cup drivers, Joe Nemechek. Under the proposal, Hendrick would provide the financial backing for the operation, including the sponsorship, while Nemco would provide the cars and personnel, sources said. A Hendrick team spokesman said no final decisions had been made on Busch’s 2004 schedule. Busch currently is running a seven-race Busch schedule under a similar deal this season with Nemco, but Hendrick had planned to move Busch’s full-time effort in-house. That still remains a possibility, sources said. Busch is also running seven Automobile Racing Club of America races this season with a Hendrick Motorsports team.(ThatsRacin.com)(7-19-2003)
