Huntsville Speedway [Alabama] legendary car builder and owner Charlie Chamblee died Tuesday after a long battle with cancer. As a former stock car driver, speedway pit official, car builder and car owner at Huntsville Speedway, the Arab resident was considered one of the best ever at the quarter-mile track. Chamblee is survived by his wife Brenda, his son Chuck Chamblee and daughter Andrea Sokell. Visitation will be today from 6-8 p.m. at the Arab Memorial Funeral Home.
