As driver Ward Burton and car owner Bill Davis are talking about a possible split at the end of the season, Burton says he’s exploring his options and talking with other car owners to see what’s available. Burton said “I haven’t done it for so long I feel quite new at it so I’m gonna see in the next couple weeks what options may be out there for me.” Burton went on to say “It’s somewhat awkward, I’ve got a lot of mixed feelings about it, but at the same time I feel like that I could do a good job for someone on the racetrack so the opportunities could be exciting as well.” Burton has driven for Davis since 1995 winning the 2002 Daytona 500 and the 2001 Southern 500.( PRN’s Garage Pass Radio Show )(8-5-2003)
