Watkins Glen International invitated the members of the New York Army National Guard to drive the NASCAR drivers on the parade lap around the track. The NYARNG will also provide the color guard, proudly presenting our nations color’s for the national anthem. All the soldiers are members of the 1-108th Infantry, the 427th Support Battalion, the 101 Cavalry, and the 27th Brigade from Rochester, NY.(8-8-2003)
