Veteran NASCAR Winston Cup team owner Travis Carter had hoped to put Carl Long in his #66 Travis Carter Enterprises Ford at Michigan International Speedway this weekend as an opportunity to do research and development work to help out the team. However, plans for this event fell through, and the team will not make the trip to Michigan. Carl Long hopes to drive for Travis Carter again soon if sponsorship can be found to help fund their effort.( Carl Long SIte )(8-13-2003)
