as most probably know, there is a major power outage in the North East effecting North New Jersey [Jayski is in South NJ and not effected], it extends over to Detroit Michigan, Michigan International Speedway is about an hour west of Detroit. Fox Sports Net’s Totally NASCAR reports that power did shut down at MIS for a bit but is now back on and all drivers and teams have already arrived.(8-14-2003 at 6:05pm/et)(8-14-2003) UPDATE: All track activities for August 15, 16 and 17 will go on as scheduled at Michigan International Speedway. Michigan International Speedway has electricity and track facilities are running smoothly. AAA Pole Day track activity starts this morning with NASCAR Busch Series practice from 8:45 10:50am/et. The NASCAR Winston Cup Series cars will be on track for their practice from 11:00 12:55pm/et followed by NASCAR Busch Series Qualifying at 1:05pm/et for Saturdays Cabelas 250.
