Sam Hornish, the two-time IRL champ, apparently is headed for a Winston Cup career with Chevy team owner Rick Hendrick, according to team sources.( Winston Salem Journal ), see past news on Hornish in my MISC section of the Dirvers Looking page, other rumor has Hornish with Penske, doing an ABC deal like Newman did in 2001.(8-23-2003) UPDATE: Hendrick Motorsports is not negotiating with Sam Hornish and they have no plans to run him in any future events.(HMSPR)(8-25-2003)
