NASCAR is planning to add Irwindale Speedway to the 2004 Truck series schedule, ThatsRacin.com has learned. The series, which already has announced a new race at Atlanta Motor Speedway for 2004, is also expected to drop its race at Bakersfield, Calif., sources said. Irwindale is a fairly new half-mile banked track that features 6,500 permanent seats and 14 suites. The track is located in the heart of the San Gabriel Valley, less than 25 minutes from downtown Los Angeles.(ThatsRacin.com)(9-4-2003)
