Access Marketing & Communications, a member of Omnicom’s The Radiate Group, is continuing to accept resumes through Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003, from experienced minority crew members to participate in the “Drive for Diversity” stock car driver and crew development program. Recruitment for qualified drivers is closed for 2004. Access Marketing & Communications launched “Drive for Diversity” as a long-term solution aimed at developing a steady pipeline of well-trained and supported minority crew members and drivers. For 2004, “Drive for Diversity” selected crew members will compete nationally on the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series teams. Driver participants will compete in the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series on tracks located in the Southeastern United States. Experienced crewmembers can submit resumes, videotapes, race results, references and other supporting materials to: “Drive for Diversity,” Access Marketing & Communications, 201 S. All applicant materials must be dated no later than Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003 , and will be reviewed by a panel of industry officials to determine qualifiers for the 2004 “Drive for Diversity” program scouting combine. The special try-out event for drivers and crew members will be held Monday, Jan. 5, 2004, at Hickory Motor Speedway in Hickory, North Carolina. The final selection of participants will be formally announced in late January 2004.
