Kevin Triplett, former NASCAR official, lost his father to a heart attack on Tuesday. Gerald Lee Triplett died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2003. He was 71 years of age. His wife of 46 years, Lorraine; one daughter, Jennifer Bragg of Kingsport; one son, Kevin of Abingdon; three grandchildren, Kayla, Lucas and Sarah Grace survive him.( Insider Racing News )(12-18-2003)
