Speed Channel is launching a two-hour programming bloc on Wednesday nights that’s dubbed “Autorotica.” The expanded programming debuts Feb. 18 at 8 p.m. and will include international car shows, motorcycle programming, profiles of celebrity-owned vehicles and racing films. The network initiated the programming in August with a one-hour broadcast. Speed Channel, available in more the 64 million homes in North America, is a 24-hour sports cable network that broadcasts NASCAR and other racing events.(Charlotte Business Journal)(1-6-2004)
