California Speedway’s 2004 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series American Racing Wheels 200 will run completely “Under the Lights” during the Indy Racing League IndyCar Series/NASCAR weekend in October. The race, which will celebrate the series’ eighth trip to the two-mile, D-shaped oval, will start at 10:00pm/et and broadcast live on SPEED Channel. This event marks the first Saturday night racing at California Speedway under its new multi-million dollar lighting system. The NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series will be the first ever “Finish Under the Lights” race at the speedway with the Pop Secret 500 on Sunday of Labor Day weekend. Tickets are on sale now.
