As part of an hour-long feature on Las Vegas, the nationally-syndicated show, Extra, will feature a visit to Las Vegas Motor Speedway with NASCAR stars Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson. Extra reporter Samantha Harris spent time taking hot laps around the 1.5-mile superspeedway during last monthÃÂÃÂs NASCAR test session. She also received some expert advice from Johnson and Gordon and even got an opportunity to sit behind the wheel of JohnsonÃÂÃÂs LoweÃÂÃÂs Chevrolet. After spending the day at the speedway, the Extra crew ventured onto the Las Vegas Strip with Johnson, who challenged Harris to a race at the SaharaÃÂÃÂs Speed World. Other segments of the show will focus on Las Vegas superstars, super shows and super real estate ÃÂ where to stay, where to eat and who you need to know [could be useful for those going to the race in March]. The show will air locally on KTNV-TV Channel 13 at 7 p.m. Pacific Time on Saturday, Feb.14 and again at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Feb 15.
