NASCAR veteran Mike Byrd has been named as the crew chief for the #50 Vassarette Chevrolet, Keith Coleman Racing (KCR) announced today. “I’m excited about the opportunity,” Byrd said. “We’ve got our work cut out for us but I’m looking forward to putting a great car on the track at Homestead-Miami.” Byrd has been involved in NASCAR for more than 25 years, including stints at Joe Gibbs Racing, Roush Racing and the NASCAR Technical Institute.
