During Monday nights PRN Fast Talk with Benny Parsons radio show, Robbie Gordon told Benny hes been sick since returning home from last weeks Daytona test and checked himself into the hospital Sunday for about four hours where doctors performed a series of blood tests. Gordons concern stemmed from running the Dakkar Rally overseas. I just want to be careful that I dont get myself in a situation where I catch one of these diseases or something like that from Africa. I did breathe an awful lot of dust. It wasnt bad the first couple of days when we were out front leading but then when we got behind there was a couple of days when we didnt see anything but dust for the whole day and Im sure I inhaled something thats not healthy for me. They took all kinds of blood tests to make sure I dont have malaria or anything like that and hopefully we can get this thing cleared up and be good for our California-Vegas test next week.(PRN’s Fast Talk with Benny Parsons and Garage Pass Radio Show)(1-25-2005)
