#9-Kasey Kahne (Dodge Dealers/UAW Dodge) posted the fastest time during a two-day NASCAR NEXTEL Cup test session at Infineon Raceway. Kahne, one of three NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series regulars at the session, toured the 10-turn, 1.99-mile road course in 1 minute, 16.32 seconds [93.868mph] on Wednesday. #99-Carl Edwards (Office Depot Ford) was second at 1:17.10 [92.918], with Travis Kvapil (Kodak EasyShare Dodge) third at 1:20.00 [89.550]. Kvapil tested the road course in a NASCAR AutoZone Elite Division, Southwest Series stock car. He will compete in both the Blue Lizard Australian Suncream Southwest Series 200, as well as the Dodge/Save Mart 350 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup event when NASCAR visits the Sonoma Valley, June 24-26. Infineon Raceway will host a second NASCAR test session, June 7-8, in advance of the Dodge/Save Mart 350.
