Edwards bumps to win at Richmond:

#60-Carl Edwards gave leader #90-Elliott Sadler, who thought he may have a tire going down, a nudge on the last lap and slid on by to win the FUNAI 250 at Richmond International Raceway on a Green-white-checkered finish after a late wreck involving #12-Stremme and #57-Busch. It is Edwards 2nd win of the season and of his career. Sadler was not happy with the bump and felt it was a dirty move by Edwards. Sadler ended up 2nd followed by #1-Johnny Sauter, pole sitter #79-Kasey Kahne and #66-Greg Biffle. Edwards only led one lap, the final one. #2-Bowyer led the most laps with 66. The win coupled with #2-Bowyer finishing 9th, increases Edwards points lead to 180. 2004 Champ, #-8-Truex Jr. is now a whopping 318 points back in 4th after finishing 38th. There were 13 cautions for 66 laps, including a 13 minute red flag for oil on the track and 10 lead changes among 7 drivers.
