Rockwell Automation announced that Trailer Bridge has signed on as an associate sponsor of the Rockwell Automation #20 NASCAR Busch Series entry [driver is Denny Hamilin…they kind of forgot to mention the driver in the PR] for the 2005 season. This sponsorship marks the first ever sports marketing program for the company. We are proud to have Trailer Bridge on board, said John Strizzi, Sports Marketing Manager for Rockwell Automation Power Systems. A NASCAR sponsorship allows them to touch many of their customers in different geographic regions. We look forward in helping them utilize this sponsorship as a marketing tool in 2005. Rockwell Automation offers unique NASCAR Busch Series sponsorship opportunities, supported by their internal sports marketing team, known as Matrix Sports Marketing. Since 2001, Rockwell Automation and Matrix have helped more than 40 companies develop and activate successful sports marketing initiatives. Trailer Bridge provides integrated trucking and marine freight service to and from all points in the lower 48 states and Puerto Rico, bringing efficiency, environmental and safety benefits to domestic cargo in that traffic lane. This total transportation system utilizes its own trucks, drivers, trailers, containers and U.S. flag vessels to link the mainland with Puerto Rico via marine facilities in Jacksonville and San Juan.
