For the third time this season, Mark Martin brought home the checkered flag in the Truck Series. Martin swapped the lead with front-runner Kyle Busch a couple of times, but Busch lost a lap after being black-flagged and had to return to the pits because of a loose hood pin. Finishing in second place was teammate, Carl Edwards in the #50; with series leader Todd Bodine 3rd, Mike Bliss 4th, and David Reutimann finishing in 5th position. Highest finishing rookie was Aric Almirola who finished in the 12th position. Kyle Busch managed to get his lap back, coming back through the pack to finish 10th.(6-2-2006)
