Asked in a light-hearted way during the Infineon Raceway post race press conference Jeff chuckled and said I think she knows that Im a lot smarter the second time around. I guarantee you one thing…shes got a much better guy this time around and Ive got an amazing girl this time around to. I cant say theres any big story to the engagement. Weve actually been holding it to ourselves for about a month. Because we didnt do it the traditional way and get down on one knee and go to some fancy restaurant or Eiffel Tower or something we held onto it for a while until we were ready to tell people. Gordon chose to break the news to family and friends who live in and around his hometown in California. As much as we travel youre not typically in a place where you can get a bunch of people together. We wanted to let our family know first obviously and so it was great to be able to do that.
