Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and XM Satellite Radio proved to be a lethal combination for XM’s phone lines last Tuesday night. Earnhardt, Jr., who hosts his own show on XM, “Dale Jr’s Unrestricted,” featured a call-in show this week. From 8:00 – 9:00pm/et, 13,496 attempts were made to dial into the show, which eventually blew out XM’s NASCAR call-in lines. “Dale Jr’s Unrestricted” airs Thursdays, 7:30-8:00pm/et on NASCAR XM, channel 144.(XM Radio PR)(8-20-2006)
