#5-Kyle Busch, the defending champion of the Sony HD 500, took his place on the California Speedway Walk of Fame on Saturday, and he did it in his own unique way. The walkway includes the footprints of previous race winners. Busch went barefoot. “Pretty cool,” he said. Busch, 21, became the Nextel Cup’s youngest winner when he took the checkered flag at Fontana a year ago. At the time, he said he didn’t realize he set the milestone when he won at the age of 20 years, 4 months and 2 days. “We made it by three days,” he said.”I’ve got taken out of races here, but I’ve won races here, for me it’s something cool to come out here.
