Hendrick Motorsports today announced a primary sponsorship for 2007 that will showcase Spectrum Brands lawn and garden products on the #5 Chevys driven by Kyle Busch in 13 Busch Series races. The program, which includes two events in conjunction with Spectrum Brands partner Busch Gardens, will include only companion dates with the Nextel Cup Series. Busch will kick off 2007 by competing in the Feb. 17 Daytona 300 at Daytona. Hendrick Motorsports has named Mike Bumgarner crew chief of its #5 Busch Series effort, which also includes five previously announced events with sponsor Delphi.(Hendrick Motorsports PR)(1-17-2007)
